Introduction
Hi Gypsy! It's Ferret. I'm joining like I said I would. I would have done it yesterday but I was swamped with work and such. :D Please let me join!
What flavor of Geek/Nerd variant do you consider yourself to be? What kind of social happenings best fit into your particular theme of un-conforming?
I'm a theatre, fantasy, renaissance type nerd for the most part. I like crafting and reading. I like seeing odd and sometimes obscure things (like Evil Dead the Musical!) or going to museums and acting like a kid.
Are you a Social Butterfly? Do you play well with others? Do you enjoy meeting new people? If so, would you be willing to help out our Nerd Posse leadership team with regularly recurring activities by occasionally hosting events at public locations?
I do tend to play well with others and am only kind of shy. I'm semi-horrible at organizing things but I'm very good at finding things to do and somehow getting people there. I think I plot well.
When you finally discovered this group after an arduous quest thru Meetup for a flock of odd ducks who naturally “get” your unique brand of slightly off, did you squeal like a piglet, do a happy dance, then have to adjust your glasses? (BE HONEST!)
I don't remember what I did. We were in Lyon's Pub and I was just silly to begin with.

Hey Jessica! Yah, we should get going on that! Do you need anything? I think I should probably be rounding up buckets and soap, right? and some old nylons? Do you need help dyeing the wool? I can pick up the catnip, too. We also need something small and spherical to put in the center of the toy while we're making it, right?
