Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and lunch!

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is being reviewed as one of the most thoughtful science fiction films of the year. Sounds right up our alley!

In case you didn't see the previous film, "Rise...", here is a brief summary. Very brief.

Will Rodman trains Caesar, a test ape for the drug ALZ 112, which increases the creature's intelligence. Tests go well, and other apes are given a new version of the drug, ALZ 113, which makes humans ill. The apes rebel and eventually make their way to live in the forest. It is implied in the end that ALZ 113 will spread around the world and destroy the human population. News reports state that a manned Mars probe called Icarus has been lost in space. Charlton Heston is apparently on board. :) The new film starts with the human population devastated and the humans' effort to coexist with the ape population.

We're in the theatre, sitting in the front section. Look for the reflection on my head!

Note that the 3D showing is at 12:30, and the 2D showing is at 12:40. We normally do the 2D and that's the plan this time too. See you there!

You should update the event to the proper time.

I have to head down to Naples right after the movie to set up "Home Movies" for the group. Sorry I can't stay after to eat with everyone.

I'm going to say yes tentatively, as I have a writing workshop earlier in the day. I should be able to get out in time but if the discussion is vibrant it will go over time.

The event says lunch, has a lunch location and time been determined? I also assume this is the 12:30 3D showing?

We could get lunch prior to the movie.

Usually near the seats by the arcade games or on the ramp up to the ticket guy. I look just like my picture, so you can't miss me/us.
