Re: [Geekspace-Gwinnett] AHRC Annual Robot Rally

Ahh crap, I must have sent it to the wrong list.  Sorry.

I will be there, as I am a member of one of the competing teams.

Come see us, and my first ever attempt at using an IMU for dead reckoning. ;)

I will be happy to explain all the annoyances and details of using just an accelerometer and a gyro for positioning feedback.

Thanks,
Mike

If you've never been to one of our meetings or events, this is the one
to check out. We run 10 different robotics competitions, from line
following and mini-sumo, to an event that was invented by AHRC; Cube
Quest. Details at the link: http://www.botlanta.org/robot-rally

The event is open to spectators (free!), and is very kid friendly. If
you have a robot to compete in one of the events, please preregister.

Even if you don't have a robot project set up for one of the
competitions, consider entering the Open competition and show it off!
