Introduction

We've been hearing about this club ever since we moved to Corsier, from everyone who knows about our interest in ponds. Now that we've found its website, we decided to join to learn even more at the club's meetings.

How did you learn about our Geneva Area Pond Club? Please specify the web site or bulletin board location or person from whom you learned about us.

Many friends and neighbors advised us to join, and we're glad we did. Meeting other pond owners in the Geneva area lets us all share our pond experiences. We're telling other water gardeners about the club as well.

Which topics would you like to hear discussed at our next meeting? Have you submitted your RSVP yet to let us know whether or not you can attend the upcoming meeting? Click to get full details on our 'Home' page.

We've signed up for the next several meetings. We're bound to learn something new at every meeting, whatever subject is the main topic each time.

If you already have a pond, how would you describe its size and appearance? What kind of plants and fish inhabit the pond? If you don't yet have a pond, would you like to learn how to create one? Can you offer (or do you need) any pond equipment?

Roughly round, 3 meters across, almost 1 meter deep. Only goldfish and water lilies. No koi, because they'd probably eat most of the plants. No equipment needed; thanks anyway.

Would you like to get some goldfish or aquatic plants for your own pond from club leders Suzanne and Peter? Do you have any fish or plants you'd like to offer to other members?

Not now; maybe later.

In what town near Geneva do you live? Can you host one of our informal get-togethers there? Simple snacks and beverages are all we expect, but if you want to make our get-together a bigger party, should we all bring a dish to share?

Corsier. House is probably too small for holding meetings. Sorry.

What Eddie Devlin is saying about this Meetup Group

I highly recommend this club to anyone having even the least bit of interest in garden ponds. And even if they have absolutely NO interest in ponds, the social activities at each meeting make attending the event lots of fun.
