This group is for inactive people who would like to get stronger, increase their range of motion, improve their coordination, feel better and have fun. I started this group because of my passion to reshape the path to wellness. I am a registered nurse with certifications in yoga, personal training, fitness nursing, and advanced cardiac life support. I have witnessed the power of exercise and group support to help people manage and improve the following: limited mobility, obesity, post surgical, arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, emphysema, cancer treatment, depression and more.
I plan to host a variety of activities ranging from short walks at the lake or bay (you set the pace) to multi-level yoga classes and/or chair fitness. This group is for all ages. Dr's medical clearance is encouraged for participation if you have been inactive for a long time or have active disease.
