Somewhere near Reston Town Center, (VA); plenty of places to choose from all within walking distance with free and nearly free parking!

Was pretty good, location was challenging after all and some that RSVPd didn't show up. Looking forward to the next meet up. Good dialogue, good company. thanks to all.

Very cool location!
Hey, thanks for all for coming out. Sorry others couldn't make it but we had a good session, more subdued and casual and some newcomers to the industry so they are looking forward to the Stetson's meet up next week.

I've never been there, but the American Tap Room at Reston Town Center seems like a nice spot for casual food ad drink. Anyone have any other suggestions?
Would love to be there, but Reston is a little too hard for me to reach from DC. Hope it's a good one!
Have we finalized a meeting point for tomorrow's ad hoc geonerd conventoin?
I work in Herndon and will head over to RTC from there. I'm still new to the area and this is my first meetup with this group :-)
I just joined this group and would love to meet you guys tomorrow. Should I do anything else besides clicking "join"?
I'll be leaving sometime between 5-5:30pm. With DC traffic it's going to take an hour or more. I'm willing to leave earlier than that.
@Wyatt -- that'd be great. I'm in Dupont, where are you leaving from, and when?
I'll be driving out to Reston from DC, anyone need a ride?

its not a bad idea - jacksons is also a decent choice. will have to do eerie meenie miny moe before Tuesday night I suppose, but all within walking distance. Paolo's is good as well.
It looks like the group might be getting bigger than that-- if anyone is coming from Alexandria or the city, let me know. Otherwise, have a great time!!
M+S Grill is decent if the group doesn't get too big (<10) http://g.co/maps/a9sxh

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
