I love looking at and playing with maps, and I want to make it easy to find all the information you need about your community, on a map. I used to provide data for a website called DataPlace, which made it incredibly easy to get critical statistics, charts, and maps about any neighborhood in the country, down to the census tract level. Nothing has replaced that tool sufficiently, and I want to make it happen.
I'm a programmer/data analyst/policy researcher working to become a web developer/data visualizer/open source humanitarian mapper. (I have a hard time choosing. When I was little I probably wanted to grow up to be a fireman/lawyer/classical pianist.)
