Welcome, Hong Kong Poker Players!

We believe in providing a low stakes, socially fun poker game and yet give the game the respect it deserves.

We originally sprang from the Expat web site Geoexpat (hence the name Geo)
and still banter back and forth on the site regularly.

Geo started from a semi-private game of 6 poker enthusiasts (a.k.a. the 6 Old Geos) long before anyone thought of it in Macau.

Since 2007 we host the weekly Friday games usually at a mahjong club in Causeway Bay. It has become Geo's trademark event and the oldest regular HK$1/2 poker gathering in town.

We almost exclusively play HK$1/$2 blinds with a HK$200 buy-in and unlimited rebuys/top ups to a maximum of $200. We keep the buy-ins low which keeps the game low budget and affordable to stress the play and social aspect of our game and not the profit levels.

We do sometimes raise stakes to float games members want to have as long as the table agrees.
