Introduction

My name is Rodney (aka BuckeyeFan at GC.com). I recently relocated to the DC area. I started geocaching by accident really. My former employer purchased a few GPSR's and asked that I teach the staff how to use them. That was it...I'm hooked.

What would you like to gain from this group?

Meet some people and develop friendships with others who enjoy the caching experience.

What/where was your first geocache discovery?

H2O FLow (GCVAZK) with my daughter Sierra (aka MaskedMagician).

How long have you been geocaching?

I've been caching since 9/2006 with over 800 finds and 15 hidden. My personal favorite hide, which has been adopted is: Inspired By Leo (GC1FWRZ). I hope to bring the same quality caches to the DC area.

Hi Rodney, I just stumbled on to the geocaching site and was fascinated. Do you have any meetups coming up soon where I could tag along to see this in action? I live in DC and don't have a car but could meetup near a metro and hopefully get a ride from some member? Thanks
