Always up for a game
In case anyone is on the fence about attending, this is what you can expect based on the last few clinics. It's two hours of drills with feedback coming from GW's coaching staff (usually 2 or 3) and players (usually 3-6). There are three courts, typically with two groups running a drill on each court. If there's enough demand, one of the nets is set to women's height. Coaches typically rotate drills from court to court. Every so often there are breaks to let you grab water or take a breather, but they only last a couple of minutes and then you're on to the next drill. Did I mention this is all drills? The coaches are great, the players are great, and take it from me they don't mind explaining really basic volleyball concepts, so don't worry about asking questions. All of the past clinics have been friendly, informative, and some good exercise. If you're doing two clinics in a day, consider packing a drink and a snack.
