"Hello! I'm Maya, a grad student at Georgetown. I'm really excited at the prospect of a Georgetown book club, since part of my problem with other groups..."
"I like wandering over to book hill park on a Sunday afternoon when the weather's nice... but I suppose I could try it on a Thursday night once and a while..."
"I love reading and enjoy discussing books with others. Blindness is a book I have read before and have been meaning to read again. I look forward on getting insights..."
We are a friendly group of readers who meet on Thursday nights at the Georgetown Branch of DC Public Library. All books we read are available through the library system, so there is no need to buy titles (unless of course you want to support the floundering publishing industry). Anyone who likes to read literary fiction and the occasional not-so-literary title is welcome, as are suggestions for upcoming titles.
