January 23: Conserving Threatened and Endangered Species in the Southeast
Join The Nature Club this January as we explore the efforts of the US Fish & Wildlife Service to conserve threatened and endangered species in the Southeastern United States with Rob Tawes
. Rob will also provide us with an update on the latest information on White Nose Syndrome and the implications on US bat populations.
The meetings will be held in the Chattahoochee Nature Center's Plaza Conference Room.
All participants (1 per family if more than one attending) should bring a dish to share.
For Potluck Dinner : Please bring the following based on last name:
A to G Side Dish
H to N Drinks
O to T Dessert
U to Z Entree
This is a suggestion only.
CNC will provide reusable plates, napkins & utensils (some folks also bring their own utensils and do not use disposables in an effort to aid in our conservation efforts.)
This is your club. Please get involved. If there is a topic you want to learn more about please submit it to the group. If you know someone who is an expert in an area appropriate for our group submit that as well. We hope you can make it.
If you have any questions, please contact Rebecca or Carla.
