Expedition Denali Presentation at REI

A team of African Americans made history this summer with their attempt to be the first such team to summit Denali, the highest peak in North America. But Expedition Denali is not over yet. The climb was only one chapter of the project developed and led by the National Outdoor Leadership School as an effort to inspire young people of color to get outside, get active, and become stewards of our wild places. The project continues this fall with events nationwide where our team members will share their compelling stories and continue to inspire. Come join us at one of these events to support diversity in the outdoors!
