Already feeling the stress of the holidays? Well, we have a great way for you to work it off! We are gathering volunteers to pull, pluck, and utterly destroy privet plants. This plant isn’t native to Georgia; it spreads like wildfire, and it ruins our local ecosystems.
We’ll be working at Panola Mountain State Park, which is a National Natural Landmark. The park has a large patch of privet spreading near the nature center and we have to remove it before it starts spreading seeds in the warmer weather. We’ll be able to make a huge impact if we all work together!
Note: Normally there is a $5 charge to enter Panola Mountain State Park. To have the fee waved just RSVP by Friday, December 6th and I’ll get you on the VIP list!
Call me with any questions and see you soon!
