Tells us why you joined Georgia Outdoor Stewards?

I've volunteered in GA's environmental community for many years, and for a number of organizations. This is the most natural group, combining efforts of many non profits. I'm so excited about this group! Preserve, protect and explore!

Where is your favorite natural place to visit in Georgia?

I have many, I'll name a few: 1. Indian Springs State Park - great place to train new kayakers - beautiful lake, park 2. George L Smith State Park - love to paddle in this mysterious cypress swamp 3. Hawkinsville, GA's Ocmulgee River Paddle - lovely river, terrific folks! 4. Ossabaw Island, a natural beauty 5. N GA Mountains GA is amazingly beautiful... Let's explore it together!

As the mother of 3 and the grandmother of 7, I devote my efforts to the protection and preservation of our beautiful state. Born, raised, and lived my whole life in GA. I plan outdoor adventures, to introduce folks to GA's natural wonders.
