This was a great class, exactly as advertised. We made pie crust, cookies, biscuits, and rosemary/garlic potatoes. The pie crust and cookies, we made one batch with lard, and one batch with Crisco so we could compare texture and taste. The differences are noticeable! We ate samples, and each took home a small amount of lard that was rendering during class. The instructors were wonderful, and knowledgeable and experienced in the subject matter. Definitely worth the time and the drive.

FYI, I talke to Three Rivers today and so far Anne and I are the only ones from the group who registered and paid for this class. The take about 22 people, so if you want a spot, I would suggest following the instructions here on the event page and get yourself registered, I'd love to see you all there!

I had the class time here in the body of info from 2 - 4, but the system defaulted again on the time under the heading so I had to adjust and put in again there ...

Hi BJ, I went online to Three River Parks and there is one class listed for Intro to Lard...that time slot is from 2-4pm. You have 7pm listed for this meetup. Is there more than one class being offered that day?
