Weekdays @ CRSP. Let's meetup Mon/Thur for TR/Sport.

Hey :) I live in the redwoods 20 minutes from Castle Rock. I have rope/anchor and will travel.  My schedule changes every week. So I'm going to initiate weekly Castle Rock meetups around my schedule.  This week I'm off Monday and Thursday.  Start time is negotiable.  I'm climbing in the 9/10 range and starting to lead.  I'm happy to belay beginners or sport climbers.

Thanks for coming out today! I want to appreciate John for his awesome anchoring job at Swiss Cheese, Alex for her knowledgeable support, and Brian for providing a clean rope :) and everyone for their positive attitude!

Yeah, right?! Indian Rock was fun :) Way to go on your first outdoor lead!

I might be able to make it on Thu if we climb at closer crags (recovering from leg injury, can't hike far) - i.e. Indian Rock, Lyme Disease, Castle Rock Proper, etc.

Indian Rock is my favorite right now. It's close, awesome and has simple walk on top rope anchors. It has a fun beginner lead route (5.8), another awesome 5.8 chimney route and a quite a few 5.10a/b's that are doable and super fun. Two of them are on Globule which have epic overhang heel hook moves :) Hope you can make it! Have you been out here?

John, will we see you manana?

      August 4, 2013

Ok, in light of the Goat Rock idea, it would be best if we hit that first due to sun exposure there. It's a bit of a hike so I suggest bringing a lunch since we will burn more calories. let's meet at the Castle Rock entrance at 9:00 (instead of Indian Rock).
