Let's get our climb on at Pinnacles -- a great place for all levels and all styles of climbing
What you will need:
*Warm fleece/jacket for belaying/climbing if weather gets cold
*Gear (rope, webbing, draws, shoes, harness, etc)
*Food & water -- There is no grocery or restaurant nearby except for the small national parks store.
*Guide book or map of routes - Optional
* An adventuresome spirit
*Safety is key. Look at safety guidelines on discussion board

We should consider carpooling and exchange phone numbers with carpools to communicate
Suggested routes: Discovery Wall, Tourist Trap maybe Monolith but if anyone wants to do others we can.
Directions from the North:
From the San Francisco Bay Area to the East Entrance:
Take Hwy 101 south through the city of Gilroy to Hwy 25 south. On Hwy 25, go through the town of Hollister and continue about 30 miles to Hwy 146. Turn right on Hwy 146, then turn left into the Pinnacles Campground to check in at Pinnacles Ranger station/store to get a parking day pass for $5.
