"Rock-A-Holic," a Film by Michael Dorame Launch Party!

Hey guys. As some you know I have been working on a film with none other than award winning filmmaker, Chris Alstrin (of "Wide Boyz") going on a year now. It's called Rock-A-Holic and it has taken us from Colorado to California to China and back to Colorado. It has been such a journey and we have met some incredible people along the way. People who have changed their lives through climbing. To date it has all been self funded but it's time to get some help to finish the film. We have started a crowd funding campaign to raise the remaining funds needed to finish the film. click on the link below to read more about the story and watch the trailer we've put together. This video gives you a very small taste of what's more to come. The stories you’re about to witness are all completely true. They are stories about adversity, fear, courage, hope, and redemption. They are inspiring stories about ordinary people taking their lives into their own hands, and doing extraordinary things to transform their lives in extraordinary ways.

Thanks to all who showed up. It was exciting to talk about film, trailer and play trivia for Sports Basement gift cards. Many of you didn't show up and while I understand stuff comes up it meant a lot to me to celebrate my film with all of you so going forward we ask that you change RSVP to no if you cant make it. Thank you

Hi Mike. I would have loved to come... However the guy at the entrance wouldn't let me in... My German Id card wasn't sufficient (should have brought my passport)... This really sucked!

Hey guys. I am stoked to celebrate with all of you my launch for my film trailer and indiegogo campaign for "Rock-A-Holic," a climbing film with heart that is creating a buzz everywhere. Both climbers and non climbers alike are being awed, moved, touched and inspired so if you haven't seen the trailer check it out here:

We will be having a bit of trivia so pay attention to the trailer - a few hints - listen to what the climbers are saying & what they look like, pay attention to the backdrops and locales. :)

I will be hitting up Mission Cliffs first to get my weekly indoor meetup started at 6:30 then heading to Southern Pacific around 7:30ish to secure tables. Good people, good food, good drinks, good atmosphere and good cause. see you soon ;)
