Sport Climb at Mt Saint Helena

Some of the tallest multi-pitch in the bay area, and a large variety of great climbs are waiting patiently to be scaled just north of Napa at Mount St Helena.

This is the first meetup that I organize, so I am keeping the group small: only four people to hopefully fit in a single car. It'll be a low-key weekend with lots of great climbing!

The plan is to pack sandwiches, leave early on Saturday and grab a spot immediately at the Bothe-Napa Valley State Park on the way up since only walk-in spots are available. Then we will start the approach and climb all day both days.

BETA: Ideally I would like to send the 3-pitch Moderator route and there are also a variety of climbs I identified in the areas called The Bubble and The Far Side.

For moderate to advanced climbers: To join this group, you should at the least be able to belay a leader and follow any 5.10 route, and preferably lead sport.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a certified rock guide of any sort nor do I claim any responsibility for your safety. By RSVPing for this event, you acknowledge that you are an experienced climber who assumes responsibility for your own safety and that of your partners.

Can myself and Lauren join Sunday? We won't camp, just climb. I won't be able to lead the 5-11a route but we can do single pitch or easier stuff

It was an hour long approach, after a 2 hour drive, I'm not surprised you chose to stay put. Missed out on some epic climbs though ;-)

Great sport climbing at the Bubble and multi-pitch at Table Rock! Fun times with the crew and those we met along the way.

Cool. I'm excited for Table and Sunday will have some good weather for it. Maybe just to be clear to the rest of the group that Tables's approach is long and solid and that there are only a few climbs below 5.10, on chossy rock, that is.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
