How do you Get Your Climb On?

Weekly midday gym sessions at Planet Granite to break the workday blues. Mountaineering when I can get it.

When did you first begin climbing? What is your level? What is your favorite type of climbing? Best place you ever climbed?

I started in 2007. I've climbing mostly indoors, up to 11a/b TR, lower on lead. Outdoors, in the 10s, followed but never led. I highly recommend Cochise Stronghold near Tucson.

What does Safe climbing mean to you?

Safe climbing is all about risk management. Climb within your ability. Keep an eye on your surroundings. Pay attention to the details and your partners. Continually learn and practice new skills!

By joining GYCO this confirms you accept & assume all responsibility & risks that could occur in climbing that you voluntarily release, forever discharge & agree to not hold harmless GYCO or any of its Organizers from any & all claims while in GYCO.

I've been climbing mostly indoors with a few outings. Looking to try more outdoor routes and learn some trad skills. Climb on!
