Get Your Climb On Message Board › We want to hear from you!

We want to hear from you!

A former member
Hi everyone!

It’s been exciting to see the growth of this group. I’m very impressed to see so many people want to step out of the gym and get on some real rock. From the beginner climbers to the experienced and returning, it’s awesome to see everyone’s perspective on their favorite spots and being safe.

Thanks to Michael, we’ve been able to get some climbs on during the winter and have Richard of Outdoor Adventure teach anchors and self-rescue safety. Now that the season is changing, it’s time to start putting together more fun outings. I’m excited to see what our other leaders, organizers, and assistants have in store. But we can’t do it alone, we need your help and want to hear from you too.

There are many transitioning from indoors to outdoors, but don’t let that stop you from suggesting where or what you want to climb. It’s a practice and a process and sometimes the best way to learn is to do. We’ve already had everything from local bouldering to deep water soloing in Thailand- where some climbed and led outdoors for the first time. So nothing is too big or too small.

Each member has the ability to suggest meetups and chances are if you have an idea, question, or comment, others do too. So start sharing your great ideas, open up on the message boards, and don’t hesitate to ask any questions. Thanks and get your climb on!
