Hi All, just a word of caution for this weekend's Pinnacles trip. Hope you have fun. SAFE fun. The rock there is crumbly so please be mindful while climbing. PLEASE wear helmets for yourself and the belayer who could potentially get rock fall from climber above. it happens. Communicate when sport belaying and climbing so there are no scary surprises. Try not to go off route too much as you could pendulum into rock AND fall the length of last clip x 2. Especially be careful when clipping around first 2 clips as any fall could result in hitting deck or ground. We have had some recent incidents where we need to enforce more safety and while we are not your parents we do want you to have fun, safe fun. You guys are adults, Get your climb on :) Michael Dorame Ambassador of Fun
