Board games at Mark's place

Another day of games!

A bit further north than most people generally get. My place is right near the beach, and also to Lydolphs Isbar, which has the extremely rare Danish combo of cheap prices and large serving sizes (of course there is the downside of waiting in a queue that frequently goes all the way down the block).

We're not at a cafe with a game shelf this time, so we're dependent on everyone bringing games. I'll try to get a few from the nearby library, but their selection was not so great for non-Danish speakers last time I checked.

My apartment can fit probably around 12-14 people fairly comfortably, but there are tables outside of my building, so we can do more if the weather's agreeable. So RSVP even if the event if full, and come on by if you're on the waiting list, if it's nice weather.

I'll be popping some popcorn for the group, so I hope everyone can make it!

Thanks Mark for hosting, and Keith for bringing the nastiest game I have ever played. It turns out I am the nastiest girl on the schoolground, beating everyone and taking their lunch money.

Thalia, in this game you can stomp your feet and throw pipes (not the real ones). Maybe we should all try the sticks and bones version one day ;)

Ah man. I wasn't able to make it. But you should bring those cards to the next one. I would love to teach people how to play 31.

I'm sorry, but I can't make it today. I'll try to be there for the next one.

A reminder to everyone to bring games. I was going to pick some up from the library here this morning, but I forgot that they're closed on Sundays now. All I've got are a few decks of cards, so I'm depending on all of you!

It's been suggested that this meetup be postponed until next week, so that we can go to Board Game Galore at the game festival on Sunday: http://w00t.dk/board-game-galore/

    Any thoughts about this?

I'll know tomorrow if I'm able to come (few things to handle before). If i come, could I bring pastries or something else?

      May 25, 2013

If there are places in the world where bringing pastries is frowned upon, my apartment is definitely not one of them. :)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
