New Year's Eve Masquerade Ball

  • Dec 31, 2013 · 9:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Experience the splendor and mystery of a traditional Masquerade Ball with a modern New Year's twist! Dance the night away to Top 40 hits, craftily spun by an expert DJ. Dine on a decadent selection of sweet and savory offerings. Enjoy five hours of premium open bar and a champagne toast for the Midnight Mask Reveal. Live Broadcast of the Ball Drop.

This is a semi-formal (dress to impress) event. Masks are not required, but that is the sexiest part of a masquerade!

The Art of Masquerade

Masquerade Balls originated in medieval courts as lavish celebrations of royal weddings and other majestic milestones. Dancing and music as well as hired entertainers were typical elements of a Masquerade. Aristocrats attended in extravagant costumes and exquisite masks, which allowed anonymity to a class that was strictly governed by proper etiquette and social rules. The allure of a Masquerade comes from the freedom provided by the guise of masks and costumes, to socialize, dance, and court one another without ever having to reveal their identities. Among many of history's famous characters, Marie Antoinette is perhaps the most famous for her love of Masquerade.

Happy New Year! It was worth every penny I spent on this event! There were so many great things about the night; the person dressed up inside a table as we walked in welcoming us, the beautiful dancers encouraging everyone to get out onto the dance floor, the DJ mixing it up but keeping the floor full, the tiers and tables of food, and the center pieces on the tables. Thank you to the ladies who joined me on the dance floor. I danced for about 2 1/2 hours or so and had a blast. Thank you to those who joined me at breakfast, you totally had me crying from laughter. It was a perfect ending to a perfect night out. One of my favorite things was the munchie box!Now you know these people have hosted a party or two. Another thing is the champagne. It was so unique and delicious. It wasn't dry...yuk. It wasn't just sweet. It was lightly sweet and mostly fruity. Yummy. It was memorable!

Hi, some questions. Do we call the hotel to reserve a room, or do we do that through you? Are the prices for the rooms only until Nov 1st also, or are those the set prices? Is this a true masquerade ball with gowns and masks, or just nice new year's attire and a mask if you feel like it? If it is the former, do you have any suggestions on where to shop? The night of the event, do we park at the hotel and take the shuttle to the Westwood, or park at the Westwood? If we park at the Westwood, will there be a shuttle the next day to take us back to our cars? Thank you for posting this so early because it allows for time to save money and prep for the event. I'm definitely going but just want some more info. This is definitely something I wouldn't have done on my own but it has a sexy intrigue to it. It sounds like fun!! Thanks for your time.

These hotel rates are only for people who attend this event and rates for hotel will be the same until they are full. Once your ticket is purchased, I can get you a promo code for booking the hotel directly. This is a popular hotel and will sell out quickly! Dress code is is up to you how simple or fancy you want...just NO jeans or sneakers. Personally, I'm going all out! Masks are not required...but I hoping everyone who goes will embrace the sprit of the masquerade. :-) Shuttle service is for hotel guests only and will take you from the hotel and the beginning and back to the hotel at the end. Did I miss anything? Lol

It is not to early to make arrangements now! Get a sitter, dust off your bling, and put on your dancing shoes so we can ring in the new year with class!
