Next Door Shelter, in the Tenderloin, is one of two emergency homeless shelters run by Episcopal Community Services (ECS).  It is home to 325 people every night.  There are separate sections for men and women and residents receive two meals daily.

We will be helping out by serving dinner to these individuals.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Jen! I can't take credit for organizing it, Daniel and Megan did that. I just helped out:)!

Unfortunately, i only made it on the RSVP list less than 40 minutes before, and that is not enough time to make it across the bay. Hopefully next time!

    Hi Everyone,

Thanks for volunteering, your time and effort is much appreciated.

If something comes up and you can't' make it, no worries. Even if this happens at the last minute, it's ok.

All we ask is that you change your status to "not attending" so that someone from the waiting list can take your spot.

Thanks for your help and I'll see you Wednesday.
