Help serve food at Sanctuary Shelter 6-8pm

Sanctuary Shelter is one of the emergency shelters run by Episcopal Community Services (ECS). This shelter is a bit smaller than Next Door Shelter but does just as much good! In addition to serving two meals a day to their clients, Sanctuary Shelter offers various in house activities including gardening and art groups. They have an awesome community garden located in the parking lot right out side the kitchen.

We will be serving one dinner shift that starts at 6:30pm. We will also help with set up and clean up. Please wear close toed shoes and PLEASE arrive at 6pm. We get the ball rolling fairly quickly and it helps if we are all there at the same time.

Thank you everyone for your continued support in supplying ECS with much needed helping hands!

hi all, I posted this in discussions but received no replies so thought i'd give it a go here. hey everyone, I have a question. r we not aloud to park in the sanctuary's parking lot? the security guard told me last night that i'm not supposed to park there but that he'd allow it this time. is that true? has the policy changed or was it always sanctuary's policy to not let volunteers park there? anyway, if I can't park in the lot, I won't be able to participate. thanks for all your help.
