Don't miss the Fantastic Fourth (on the 3rd) Celebration!
Fantastic Fourth Celebration was voted the “Best Place to see Fireworks in Atlanta” by Atlanta Journal-Constitution readers, a “Must-See Fireworks Show” by USA Today and one of Reader’s Digest’s picks for “America’s Most Spectacular Fourth of July Fireworks.”
We will play cards, and /or board games while sharing dishes before the show begins at dusk. Bring your lawn chairs, a table if possible, & blankets along with something edible to share. I will bring Chick Fil A nuggets, paper plates and napkins. PLEASE comment on what you are going to bring so it is not duplicated. For sure we will need forks & coolers with clean ice and cups.
Arrive early to enjoy fun-filled attractions and special summer entertainment for the whole family. Go on an action-packed journey with Journey 2: The Mysterious Island – The 4-D Experience, challenge yourself on SkyHike®, the nation’s largest family adventure course, cool off and play in the spray on Geyser Towers® and much more.
Stay into the evening for an unforgettable patriotic celebration with the Lasershow Spectacular in Mountainvision®followed by a special, patriotic fireworks finale!
Please be advised that Stone Mountain Park typically experiences large crowds during the Fantastic Fourth. Be sure to come out early to enjoy the Park.
*Vehicle entry to the park is $10.00 for a one day permit or $35 for an annual permit. Note that there will be no free Park re-entry allowed. Guests without a parking pass who leave the Park and then wish to return will have to re-pay the $10.00 Park entry fee.
Those wanting to carpool & share the $10 parking cost can meet up in front of the Hobby Lobby in the Walmart shopping center (1825 Rockbridge Rd) across the road from the Stone Mountain Park entrance at 6:15. If you need to arrive later, please state your time in case others would like to meet up with you to rideshare.
We will meet in front of the Sky Lift by the restrooms at 6:30. Those arriving after, please call me once you arrive so I can meet you and walk you over to our spot.
Again, bring a blanket, a table, lawn chairs, Games, Cards, & Food to Share . . . BYOB.
