After many months of delays, the grand opening for the new Bryson Park is now planned for Oct. 27.
It is a long-awaited addition to the parks available in Gwinnett County, specifically in the Lilburn area. Bring the whole family and enjoy fun kids activities, inflatables, music and food vendors or just be one of the first to explore the park by using the trails, play grounds and ball fields.
The grand opening will be 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 27. Earlier in the week, at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 23, there also will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The facility is located at 5075 Lawrenceville Highway in Lilburn. And, at first, it was expected to be completed in March, but construction hit a number of delays. Hope some live near by to partake and enjoy this new edition to the Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation family.
