Let's Walk INSIDE and stay warm!!

Let's forget about the snow and get familiar with the new Recreation Facility at Brunswick Landing (the former Navy Base).  We can walk a few laps around the track and stay dry and warm!  You are welcome to come over to my house for coffee/tea afterwards.

The track is almost 1/9 of a mile long and is available for use by the community during the following hours:

Monday – Friday

8:30 am until 10:30 am
Noon until 8:00 pm

Sunday – 4-6 pm

* Additional weekend time will be made available as seasonal programming allows.

Please bring your walking shoes with you and put them on once you are inside the Recreation Center.  The Recreation Center has locker rooms with showers and a changing area available for use.

See more photos of the track.

Track Mileage:
590 feet = 1 Lap

Oh well. Maybe next week. I can't go to Zumba again this week because I have a job interview. You missed a very fun, educational walk at Bowdoin yesterday. We visited the Arctic Museum during our Chamberlain tour. I hadn't been there for a long time, and it was fascinating as usual.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
