Girlz in Gear (GiG) is a female road cycling group created to unite women interested in road cycling in a safe, friendly and encouraging environment. GiG focuses on fun, fitness, recreational riding and cycling event training. There are scheduled rides for all levels of riders from beginner to long time roadie. GiG members also participate in many cycling events throughout the year.
GiG strongly adheres to the message “Share the Road” so it is very important for all riders to be aware of, and abide by, the road laws as it pertains to cycling.
2009 Annual Membership dues are $5. All memberships will be valid through December 31, 2009.
Your membership fee helps to cover the expense of meetup.com dues and helps keep costs down for jerseys, tee shirts, etc...
Please feel free to ask questions regarding the group or cycling in general. Suggestions regarding riding schedules and times are greatly appreciated.
Join GiG, meet new friends and have lots of fun!
