Has your child reached developmental milestones shockingly early? Is s/he far out of synch with chronological peers, perhaps in some areas ahead of kids 2x her/his age? Have you, as a parent, perhaps felt awkward around other parents, who seem to be having entirely different experiences with their same-aged kids?

I started this group in hopes of finding families with other children like my own, who has shocked most people around him since early infancy. (Examples: 1st words at 8mos, knew colors and shapes at 12 mos, mastered the alphabet at 16 mos, began sight reading at 20mos, adding, subtracting, and reading time on digital clocks at age 2.)

Parenting an exceptionally or profoundly gifted child is a journey. Let's create opportunities for our kids to socialize, and for us, their parents and family members, to connect and share our experiences.
