The world's developed economies are gradually transitioning to a service economy, which already comprises about 60% of total economic activity. This impact of this phenomenon is problematic for companies based on technological innovation products which cannot produce real and lasting value to society - and pushes these companies to the Commodity Trap world where the only thing that counts is the low price.
In recent years – especially abroad – there is a growing understanding that business innovation can leverage companies far beyond technological innovation and in particular the understanding that business innovation can come from groundbreaking ideas in service. This field has been given the name Service Innovation.
The meeting we will delve into these trends, present case studies to articulate the topic of Service Innovation. We will try to present the complexity in the field and try to show why the topic is a blue ocean for companies.
