Want to learn how to build your own website? Already have your own Tumblr/Wordpress/etc. site, but want to have more control over it? Interested in learning to program but want to start small? Our HTML & CSS for Beginners class is for you!
We'll explore how to use HTML and CSS to build websites, introduce you to the tools you need for the job and put you on the path of using your new skills to work on more complex applications.
This class will be taught by Rachel Thompson.
This is a two-day class on the following days. You should only attend if you can make both days.
- Saturday, June 22 12:15-5pm
- Sunday, June 23 12:15-5pm
Due to the restrictions of Meetup's registration, we can't schedule multi-day events, so keep in mind that this Meetup event serves as registration for the entire class.
Please note that our venue for this event is a bit farther out of the city than our usual locations. It is accessible via bus from many locations, but takes a while and requires some walking. Please email us if you need assistance with travel, and we will try to help you out. Please make sure you have viable transportation options before registering.
Students are required to bring their own laptop for classes. If you do not have a laptop, please contact us at [masked] before registering, and we’ll see if we can work something out.
If you are interested in attending, but cannot afford the full class cost, please fill out our scholarship form.
