GDI Code and Coffee Night - December

Code and Coffee is a monthly opportunity for you to put your skills to work. Bring your laptop, your recent projects and your programming problems.

Have a project idea and some skills, but haven’t attended a GDI event yet? Want to focus on helping others with their projects? You're welcome too!

As a group, we’ll hold each other accountable for completing our projects, and provide on-going support and feedback.

This event is free, but we ask that you make a small purchase. Cats and Dogs Coffee is nice enough to stay open late for us, so we want to make sure we're giving them some business. :)

Feel free to come by for the whole thing or drop in when you have time. Cats and Dogs is fairly small, so we're limiting the RSVPs. If you RSVP "Yes" and can no longer make it, please change your status so someone else can take your spot.

What are people planning to work on next week?

Also, don't forget about the lending library - there's a few new books in there from the PragProg holiday sale. Let me know if there are any books you're interested in, and I will bring them along. :) http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/12753361?shelf=available

The new programmer survival guide looks good, and so does PHP in a nutshell, and responsive web design, and transcending css...but you can bring what you like. :) I am still working on the site for the record label. I wouldn't mind chatting with someone about how to encourage my freelance client to do their homework.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
