In our last member survey, we asked if people were interested in seeing job postings. The answer was largely “yes, if they fit our group and aren’t spammy.” To that end, we are implementing the following guidelines for sharing job postings with the group. We reserve the right to decline any postings that we decide are not a good fit for our group and to change this policy at any time if it stops being helpful for our members.

If you are interested in sharing a job posting with our members, please email us at­ to receive approval. Please expect at least a week for a response. You should include the following information:
- A link to the job posting.
- A link to information about your organization/company/etc. or a brief description if a link is not available.
- Where the position is located? If it is outside of the Western PA area, it is not a good fit for our group.
- A brief explanation of why you think the job is a good fit for our members.

If you receive approval from the organizers, you may share your job posting with the group via this discussion board. You must follow these guidelines:
- The subject of your post must begin with “job posting” to indicate the type of post. The rest of the subject should be clear what the post is for (e.g. “<job title> at <company name>”).
- The body of the post should include the same information that you emailed to the organizers to receive approval.

Members, we will not be email spamming you with these postings. If you are interested in seeing job posts, please be sure to check the discussion board or subscribe to new posts by clicking the “track this message board” link.
