Intro to HTML5 & CSS3

Ladies, Sunday class canceled! Check your email for details.

Learning HTML and CSS is the first step in understanding how to build websites! They serve as a fantastic introduction for anyone interested in learning how to program. This is an introductory course that covers the basics of building a website. There are no prerequisites--this is our intro-level course.

We will guide you through the basics of HTML and CSS, give you some readily-applicable skills, and answer any questions you may have along the way.

This 2-class HTML/CSS course runs the weekend.

Here are the class dates:

Class 1: Intro to HTML and Intro to CSS: Saturday, March 1st, 12pm-4pm

Class 2: Deeper with CSS layouts: Sunday, March 2nd, 12pm-4pm

What to bring: Computers are provided but if you want to bring your laptop, you are welcome to do that. Otherwise, bring a flash drive or create an account on dropbox so you can bring your files home. If you want to take notes on paper, bring a notepad.  That should be it!

Please note our refund policy: Your payment of $60 guarantees your seat in the course. If something changes after registration and you cannot attend the course, your seat is yours to sell or give to someone else - just please let us know who! As a rule we don't offer refunds, but please let us know if you have extenuating circumstances.

Directions on Richland campus: You need to enter the Richland Campus from Abrams at the light at Flickering Shadow Drive. Once you have turned into Flickering Shadow, take the turn to the right and park in that parking lot there in front of the building with the flags and/or neon lights out front. Once you enter the building, the room is on the second floor on the right (or south) side of the building. 221
