Hi gals! Sorry I've been a tad busy since. I posted a class pihoto of us in action at the Techonomy Detroit ( closed group on Facebook ) just mentioning GirlDevelopIt and Atomic Object's great work in teaching web design in 2 days for a great value. It's a great press release viewed by Detroit business leaders & tech investors nationally so hopefully it will spotlight your nonprofit endeavors. I'm so rooting for Detroit to turnaround from bankruptcy so I appreciate all of you for updating your tech skills!

  • Kristy G.

Are there any application/software requirements for this class?

    March 18, 2014

    • Leeann

Hi Kristy! We recommend students install Google Chrome (https://www.google.com...) & Sublime Text (http://sublimetext.co...), both of which are free. Neither is absolutely required; if you have a different web browser &/or text editor you prefer, you'll still be able to follow along, you just might miss a couple of the extra features Chrome & Sublime offer.

I'll send out an email with further details later in the week, and there is time at the beginning of class to install for folks who don't get to do so ahead of time. :)

I want to take the class, is it possible to pay cash the day of the class? That would really help me out.

    March 17, 2014

    • Michelle

Hey Anna! Unfortunately we only accept payments through Meetup. This is a national policy for our organization. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help. You can always send an email to [masked] with questions as well.

  • Kyle S.

I plan to attend. But still have a refund coming for another class I signed up and paid for Feb. 8. I gave at
least a 1 1/2 days notice as the refund policy stated as the limit and I've not heard back from anyone. What should I do? Please advise.

    March 9, 2014

    • Leeann

Hi Kyle. Erika handles credits & refunds, so I'll bring this to her attention. You might also want to shoot her an email ([masked]). We'll look forward to seeing you in class! :)

      March 10, 2014

  • Leah Y.

Hi there! I'm attending, but I'm Katy Hinz's plus one. I wanted to make sure I'm not taking up two openings, so I canceled my RSVP. Thanks!

Is this 1-5pm or 6-10pm? The time needs correction.

Sorry about the confusion! It's 1-5pm on both days! :-)

Thanks for catching that Jo! It's 1 - 5. Just corrected the description. :)
