Upcoming April hackathons you may want to know about

Yasmine M.
If you attended Ladyhacks and want to go to more hackathons or if you want to check one out, there are a host of events coming up:

April 5-7 – Philly Health Codefest - The Philly Health Codefest is a two-day coding competition to improve healthcare solutions. Help shape new approaches, prototypes and tools.
April 19 - Philly Enterprise Hackathon - With $100,000 in prizes and the promise of incubation, the Philly Enterprise Hackathon is bringing together the community of software developers and enterprise companies.
April 20-21 – NASA Space Apps - The event embraces collaborative problem solving with a goal of producing relevant open-source solutions to address global needs applicable to both life on Earth and life in space.
April 26-28 – Philly Startup Weekend - Startup Weekend is a global grassroots movement of builders, creators, developers, designers, and idea generators who come together for a weekend of experiential learning and growth. The organizers have offered GDI designers and developers half off tickets by using discount code ‘GDIPHILLY’.

P.S. Node Philly is hosting their second annual conference and bringing some of the most notable experts in the Node.js community to the City of Brotherly Love to speak, collaborate, and hack, including Girl Develop It's co-founder Sara Chipps. Learn more about the event here -. They are giving away two $80 tickets to GDI members – all you have to do is tweet them at @NodePhilly why you should win.

P.P.S. We have a new poll on Facebook asking if you’d be interested in taking marketing classes through GDI. Take a second to enter your vote here:

Best of luck!

There's also an education-technology focused hackathon going on this weekend following up from TechCamp a few weeks ago. AT&T will be providing some developer support along with the Code for Philly brigade and Jarvus Innovations.

Technically Philly is organizing, check out their coverage and RSVP here:
