Intro to HTML/CSS

  • This location is shown only to members

Want to learn how to build your own website? Already have your own blog, but want to have more control over it? This 2-day workshop is for you!

We'll start with lunch on each day at noon, then go into lectures and hands-on exercises, ending around 6pm. This workshop will be taught by  local web developers Mary Ann Jawili and Pamela Fox.  Bring a laptop and charger with you.

If you're interested in helping out as a teaching assistant, please let us know. If you recently took the HTML/CSS class, TAing can be a great test of your skills! It can also be a great way to meet other people in our community.

Many thanks to our sponsor Stripe for the wonderful space.

If you'd like to attend but cannot afford the cost, please request a GDI scholarship.

Hello, I have a developer background, but need a refresher course . Can I benefit from this course even if I already worked with HTML and CSS in the past? What will this workshop cover?

    July 31, 2014

    • Pamela

We will touch on some new HTML5 elements and CSS3, but we'll also have an additional 2 workshops on CSS3 right after (which will be announced shortly).

Hello! I'm about to graduate from Hackbright Academy, and I used a lot of HTML and CSS for my final project. I'd love to help out as a TA if you could use me on Sunday.
