Intro to Web Dev: HTML & CSS Workshop

Want to learn how to build your own website? Already have your own Tumblr/Wordpress/etc site, but want to have more control over it? Interested in learning to program but want to start small? This one-day workshop is for you!
We will guide you through the basics of HTML and CSS, give you some readily-applicable skills, and answer any questions you may have along the way. We'll start at 9, take a lunch break at 12:30, and end at 6.
The course will be taught by Pamela Fox, a local web developer. If you're interested in helping out as a teaching assistant, please let us know. (If you recently took the HTML/CSS class, TAing can be a great test of your skills!)
Please install the following prior to class:
- A code editor. We recommend Notepad++ for Windows and SublimeText for Mac.
- A modern browser. We recommend Google Chrome (best) or Mozilla Firefox with the Firebug plugin.
Please note our refund policy: Your payment of $75 guarantees your seat in the course. If something changes after registration and you cannot attend the course, you must notify us at least 3 days before class to receive a refund.

This day is jam-packed. We started at 9, had a 20 min lunch, then finished around 6:15. A few 10 minute breaks would have been nice. Other than the lack of breaks I loved every minute of the workshop and I learned sooooooooooooooooooo much. I definitely feel I got my money's worth. Pamela is a great teacher and broke things down into digestible chunks. My brain was super full by the end of the day but I felt inspired to take on the world. What more could you ask for in a 1 day workshop?
