Hi all!
It was great seeing so many of you at the hackathon this weekend! I encourage you to keep on hacking, like at the upcoming Hack Night at Citizen Space this Wednesday night.
We have quite a few events coming up in the next few weeks from GirlDevelopIt (including our first ever workshop in the south bay on Client-side APIs). There are also a lot of non-GDI meetups and conferences, and we have discount codes for many of them. Besides being a place to learn from others, events are a great place to network and meet potential employers or collaborators. (In fact, some events, like the Startup Drinkup this week, is pretty much only about meeting potential employers!)
Are you worried that you’re not up to date with the latest web development news? Subscribe to one of these great newsletters.
If any of you work for employers that would be interested in supporting GirlDevelopIt or if you yourself are interested, read this post about ways you can help us grow in 2013.
Oh, and our JavaScript students were highlighted in an article in the SF Chronicle - making learning look *goooood*.
And now for our regularly scheduled links...
