We are going on a field trip to MAP Female Founders this Thursday.
Please pick up a ticket here for catering purposes:
Tammy Butow, MD of Girl Geek Dinners Melbourne will be speaking about GGD at Female Founders. You will hear from Alexandra (Sandy) Schischov, Founder and CEO at Stylizen and Jenny Vandyke, Author | The Innovation Recipe: Key ingredients for world-class results in big business.
Because our first meetup was so awesome, we're going to be having one every month!
This month, our meetup is going to be held on the 19th of June, 6pm - 8pm, so save the date, come along and meet some awesome people. I know that it's exam season for a lot of people, but it might be a good way to relax and get inspired for an hour or two. Much like the last event it will involve a few fantastic speakers sharing their own personal experiences, some food, drinks, Q&A and networking.
This month we're being sponsored by Elance-Odesk, who will be supplying us with a venue, some food and drinks as well as a few perks relating to their services.
I'll release some more information soon when we confirm the speakers. Please aim to come along - it's really quite casual, so no pressure!
Here at the lovely ladies who will be sharing their experiences with you: Alexandra (Sandy) Schischov
Founder and CEO at Stylizen
After working as a manager at David Jones and the National Retail Manager of Fashion Brands, Alexandra stepped out on her, combining her business and fashion savvy to create an innovative new platform called Stylizen. Sandy will be sharing on her transition from corporate to becoming a founder of an online business along with the challenges, successes and learnings she has encountered along the way.
