Girl Geeks Hacking for Humanity at RHoK Melbourne

Random Hacks of Kindness (RHoK) is a group that brings hackers together with experts in natural disasters and other community causes, with the aim of building apps and software that can make the world a safer place. It’s a global event (started by Google, Yahoo!, Microsoft, NASA and the World Bank) that takes place around the world a couple of times a year. Melbourne is joining in for the third time at Swinburne Uni on the 1st and 2nd of December. Previous events have been very male dominated as far as attendance goes, and it would be really great to get some girl geeks along to #changetheratio

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
