I'm awesome. No, really. I'm a nursing student, too. And a maker of things.
What do you geek out about?
Yknow, it's less that I geek out about things, and more that the people I like get along with and like the best all happen to be geeks. I pick up things here and there along the way, but it's hard to pin me down as just one particular kind of geek. I enjoy hackerspaces? I have a thing about comic book heroes? Most recently I've been playing with programmable LED sequins for modding shoes and accessories. The artistic decisions are the hardest part- you wouldn't think they'd be that much more attention-grabbing than glitter or ordinary sequins, but because they're so unexpected it's remarkably easy to overwhelm your entire outfit with the wrong twinkle speed.

Hello Anna- Welcome to the Mostly Waltz group. Since 1999 we've been Philly's place for waltzing (and other couple dances) to live music. We meet once a month on Sunday afternoon. The next event is June 24. No need to RSVP; just come out and enjoy. Come singly or with a partner--either
