Girlpages Adventure Club; G-PAC is a lesbian focused Adventure activities group for lesbian (and women in between) women who who share a passion for adventure. Women who welcomes the gathering with other allies and meet-up groups with like activities, that have a sense of respect for diversity and the environment. Right now we are Lesbian and Bi Women only, but expect to better define our vision and mission as a team. (Think of us as a gay Girl Scouts of America).
Hiking, kayaking, rafting, SCUBA and snorkeling, motorcycle & scooter adventures, Zip lining, repelling, biking, softball, and other outdoor activities. G-PAC (pronounced Gee Pack) is part of the Girlpages™ Network (A lesbian nightlife, entertainment and travel magazine with over 1,000 lesbian events nationwide!). "G-PAC" is also a 'button' on Girlpages it's the next level in creating community.
G-PAC's core members are women "Explorers" of many things.
If you're not a lesbian (Lavender), you will be identified as an (Green or Blue) 'allie'. Anyone part of G-PAC must be diversity respectful and environmentally friendly. G-PAC is meant to be a fun group to help lesbians get out, build community and stay active. This is not a 'singles or couples' group, it's about the adventure with like minded women. However, if you are single we will identify that you are so you can potentially meet other single lesbians in your journey with us.
G-PAC Teams will have cool/fun team names. Sort of like when you went to camp as a kid. Like Girl Scouts has different badges for activities, so does G-PAC. Once teams are identified, we will make a team logo. Such as the team name for Kayakers is "Yaks" or "G-PAC Yacks" you can be part of many teams, even encourage others to organize events. We would love you to bring more interesting adventures to the club.
Please excuse our newness. I have only been to two 'meetup' activities, so I am still getting used to this format.
In addition to becoming part of our club, fan our facebook page for additional information. It's a great way to interact without becoming "Facebook Friends" https://www.facebook.com/pages/Girlpages-Ad...

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
