Girls in Gear Sports Cycling is a female cycling and fitness group created to unite women interested in cycling or fitness training in a safe, friendly and encouraging environment. Our purpose is to give women in the Triangle area a means of meeting other women who enjoy fitness and a place to create women's group rides; please join us in fun fitness!

There are many scheduled rides each week; members are encouraged to post their own rides or events as well.

We hope to inspire you to make this group your own by by posting rides/events/meetups, suggesting ideas, sponsorship, posting pictures, fitness travel adventures, ...! :-D

2011 Annual Membership dues are $5. All memberships will be valid through December 31, 2011.

While not required, your membership fee is very important to the vitality of this meetup.  It is applied towards the dues charged by meetup.com and also helps keep the costs of jerseys, tee shirts, and other gear low!  As a benefit of paying the $5 membership dues, paying members are given the designation of Event Organizer and have the power to create rides and gatherings on the GiG calendar!!  Please make GiG your own and contribute membership dues - we thank you for keeping GiG strong and active!
