I loved meeting all these great ladies in tech. It definitely inspires me to try new things out with my own career. Wonderful speakers! I enjoyed hearing about how they keep a work/life balance.

Networking events are always funny. At first you ask yourself, "what am I doing here" meeting new people can sometimes be awkward and uncomfortable. The GIT event creates an environment for girls (who are in an male dominated industry) to shine and network. I left with a few great contacts that I plan to mentor, be mentored and work on projects. The speakers also did a great job. They spoke on topics that were relevant to the attendees. They were not pushing their agenda, yet sharing their experiences. I look forward to the next event.
