Book Group #4: The Cuckoo's Calling

Thanks to Leslie for hosting our last meeting!

This month's book is "The Cuckoo's Calling" by J.K. Rowling (written under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith). More info here: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16160797-the-cuckoo-s-calling

I'll provide snacks and wine and we can have a leisurely discussion. This is a guilt-free book club, so come discuss the novel, even if you haven't cracked the book. We don't judge.

I live in Livingston and will e-mail everyone who has RSVP'd my address the day before our meeting.

As a friendly reminder, please remember to change your RSVP status if you can't make it so I can plan for food and drinks and in case there is a waitlist.

P.S. The day of our meeting is also Daylight Savings! So remember to set your clocks forward :)

Hey guys, sorry i can't make it either, had a problem come up with our pipes and have to spend tomorrow with landlord testing what ones are impacted. Have so much fun! Sorry this is so last minute and hopefully I'll make the next one.

I'm so sorry to have to cancel last minute, but I unfortunately have a work project due Monday that is going to occupy my entire weekend. I was really looking forward to meeting you all, and will do my best to make the next meeting! Loved the book, btw.

Hey everyone: if you're interested in hosting next, bring a few titles/synopses of books you're excited about reading and we can decide what we're going to read next. I'll bring some suggestions too just in case. I'm looking forward to seeing some new (and old) faces in March! P.S. I returned my copy of Cuckoo's Calling to the Bozeman library today, so if you're waiting on it, it might be available soon.

I was thinking of hosting next! I have some ideas but would love it if others had some good books in mind also!

Stumbled upon this video and thought my fellow book worms would also enjoy it. This is your brain on fiction:

Me too! Leslie, this might just mean you're going to have to crack open Harry Potter! ;)

I'm also enjoying the book! I have a copy from the Bozeman library which is a few days overdue and I'm trying to finish it this weekend in case someone here is waiting on a copy.

As long as there isn't a hold on it you can renew your materials online! :)
