The Asian American Alliance has invited us to celebrate the Lunar New Year, the Year of the Snake, with them this February.

Start your day off right. Coffee, Bagels, Croissants - and ART!

This is a FREE event for you to enjoy.

Town Hall attracts artists in all disciplines: musicians, composers, dancers, choreographers, actors, filmmakers, visual artists, writers, designers and others.

They also get many arts workers from small to large arts organizations, including from the Harlem Arts Alliance, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Museum of Chinese in America, Public Theater, Rubin Museum and many others.

The event lasts two hours. During the first hour you can give a one-minute pitch or a performance of up to four minutes. You can pitch to promote an event, to ask for help or collaborators for a project, to show a trailer for your new film, to inform others about a new grant or new residency program, or simply to introduce yourself to the community. The second hour is a potluck where you are free to enjoy the food and the presence of others.

It's a morning potluck, so bring your favorite breakfast treats to share!

***Please bring some food or drinks to share with your fellow Town Hall participants. If you are unable to provide something for the potluck, please make a $5 donation toward it, which the Alliance will use toward subsequent Town Hall potlucks.

I told the Alliance that both of you ladies will be attending tomorrow morning. Please remember to bring something for the potluck breakfast. Otherwise, please pay $5 towards a future breakfast. I think it would be gracious to bring something to eat since I am sure both of you will be enjoying the food there. It's up to you. Enjoy!

Hi Ladies. I am working on Tuesday so I will not be attending this. As I said in the description, I think you all should meet on the 18th floor and then go in and sit together. You might want to email each other just to connect prior to the event. Enjoy! If you can take a few pictures of each other and send them to me or post them here, that would be great. (If you take pictures of participants, they said to ask permission and then share it with the Alliance also). Enjoy!

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
